DIY corner shelf {making space in a small kitchen}

 Living in a small apartment, I’m always on a mission to maximize every space. In my new kitchen I was looking to more storage, and I saw this little corner. It was actually my husbands idea, and I immediately thought it was great!
 I had the man at our little local “hardware” store (I’ll have to show you pictures of this sometime) cut me a piece of wood to fit in the space. I made it just slightly smaller so I would be able to hang it.
 Painted my shelf to match…
 Use 3M hangers…
 And installed the shelf. This is great for places that you can’t (or aren’t allowed) to drill brackets into the wall.
 Look at all that space!

 I decided to put my cookbooks on this shelf…
